BDO AI Community Guidelines

COMMUNITY GUIDELINES
The BDO AI Community provides an online forum for forward thinking executives [and other professionals] to discuss their plans, thoughts, concerns, questions, and innovations regarding the use of artificial intelligence (“AI”) within their organizations, seek recommendations, and have a community of fellow executives tackling the selection and deployment of AI. These Community Guidelines ensure everyone can express themselves and find community — but not at the expense of anyone else. The content that you contribute should add to the BDO AI Community in a constructive manner. Together, we can make our community a place where everyone is able to learn, grow, and communicate for the benefit of all.
These Community Guidelines are incorporated into your agreements with us relating to the BDO AI Community, including the Terms of Use located at [ ][Dechert1] , the AI Community Vendor Participation Agreement located at [ ] [Dechert2] and the AI Community Executive Membership Agreement located at [ ] [Dechert3] (“Agreements”) and further explain what isn’t allowed in the BDO AI Community so that we can help create a positive environment for everyone. Everyone in the BDO AI Community, whether an executive, vendor or other participant, must follow these Community Guidelines, and they apply to all parts of our platform, including your content, behaviors, servers, and applications.
If you see something you believe may violate these Community Guidelines, whether in content, accounts, profiles, posts, messages, comments, or anywhere else, please report it to us. BDO reviews reports submitted by users or trusted third-party partners and as required by law. When we proactively or reactively discover a violation of these Community Guidelines, we may take a number of enforcement steps based on the severity of the violation, including issuing warnings, removing content, suspending account access to the BDO AI Community, or permanently removing violative accounts, and even reporting them to law enforcement. We may also consider relevant off-platform behavior when making assessments for violations of these Community Guidelines.
RESPECT EACH OTHER
Only bring safe, productive conversations to the BDO AI Community.
Do not promote, coordinate, or engage in harassment. As a professional network, the BDO AI Community maintains a high standard for safe and civil conversations between members. Our policies prohibit a wide range of actions and behaviors associated with harassment, bullying, or other abusive conduct, including targeted personal attacks, intimidation, shaming, disparagement, and abusive language directed at other members. Do not reveal others' personal or sensitive information (for example, doxing) or incite others to do the same. You may not engage in trolling or other repetitive negative content that disrupts other members or conversations on the platform.
We do allow for commentary, or criticism on AI policies or tools so long as they do not insult or vilify.
Do not be hateful. We don't allow content that attacks, denigrates, intimidates, dehumanizes, incites or threatens hatred, violence, prejudicial or discriminatory action against individuals or groups because of their actual or perceived race, ethnicity, national origin, caste, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religious affiliation, age, or disability status. Hate groups are not permitted on the BDO AI Community. Do not use racial, religious, or other slurs that incite or promote hatred, or any other content intended to create division.
Do not threaten, incite, or promote violence. We don’t allow threatening or inciting violence of any kind. We don’t allow individuals or groups that engage in or promote violence, property damage, or organized criminal activity. You may not use the BDO AI Community to express support for such individuals or groups or to otherwise glorify violence. This includes direct, indirect, and suggestive threats. Any depictions of violence, along with image or video content that is gory, gruesome, or shocking is strictly prohibited.
Do not organize, promote, or support violent extremist organizations or individuals. This also includes coordinating violent acts; glorifying or promoting violence or the perpetrators of violent acts; and promoting conspiracy theories that could encourage or incite violence against others. We don't allow any terrorist organizations or violent extremist groups on our platform. And we don't allow any individuals who affiliate with such organizations or groups to have a BDO AI Community profile. Content that depicts terrorist activity, that is intended to recruit for terrorist organizations, or that threatens, promotes, or supports terrorism in any manner is not tolerated.
Do not engage in any sexual conduct with anyone or share, distribute, or create sexually explicit or sexually suggestive content. We don't allow expressions of attraction, desire, requests for romantic relationships, marriage proposals, sexual advances or innuendo, or lewd remarks. The BDO AI Community is a professional networking platform, not a dating site. Do not use the BDO AI Community to pursue romantic connections, ask for romantic dates, or provide sexual commentary on someone's appearance or perceived attractiveness. Do not send unwanted advances in messages, posts, or comments or send sexually explicit images to anyone on the platform. This includes creating, soliciting, sharing, or exchanging sexual content, with or without another member’s consent.
Do not share content that glorifies, promotes, or normalizes suicide or other acts of physical self-harm. This includes content that encourages others to cut, burn, or starve themselves, as well as content that normalizes eating disorders, such as anorexia and bulimia. Self-harm acts or threats used as a form of emotional manipulation or coercion are also prohibited. Do not share content or activities that promote or encourage suicide or any type of self-injury, including self-mutilation and eating disorders. If you see signs that someone may be considering self-harm, please report it using our reporting tools and consider also reporting it to your local law enforcement authorities.
Do not upload or share harmful or shocking material. We don't allow content that is gruesome or shocking. This includes content that is sadistic or graphic, such as the depiction of bodily injury, or physical or sexual violence. We don't allow content, activities, or events that promote, organize, depict, or facilitate criminal activity. We also don't allow content depicting or promoting instructional weapon making, drug abuse, and threats of theft. Do not engage in or promote escort services, prostitution, exploitation of children, or human trafficking. Do not share material depicting nudity or sexual activity.
Do not engage in illegal activity. Do not organize, promote, or engage in illegal activity or conspire with others to do so. Do not engage in any activity that harms the dignity, safety, or wellbeing of another person. Do not engage in any disclosures or activity that could constitute insider trading.
Do not coordinate or participate in illegal gambling. Users are responsible for complying with applicable gambling laws and regulations.
Do not share confidential information. Information posted to the AI Community platform, including but not limited to messages, comments and discussion forums, typically will be viewable by other participants in the AI Community, and therefore will not be confidential. You should not post any of your or your employer’s confidential information or other material nonpublic information.
Do not share content that violates anyone's intellectual property or other rights. Do not share or create any content that violates anyone’s intellectual property or other rights.

RESPECT THE BDO AI COMMUNITY
We require you to use your true identity on the BDO AI Community, provide accurate information about yourself or your organization, and only share information that is real, authentic, and consistent with the spirit of our community.
Do not send unsolicited bulk messages (or spam) to others. We don't allow untargeted, irrelevant, unwanted, unauthorized, inappropriate commercial or promotional, or repetitive messages or similar content. Please make the effort to create original, professional, relevant, and interesting content in order to gain engagement. Don't do things to artificially increase engagement with your content. Respond authentically to others’ content. Do not facilitate spam activity, such as by selling or creating spambots, account-creation tools, token generators, CAPTCHA-solving services, or other spam tools.
Do not engage in with the platform in an inauthentic way. Do not use self-bots, user-bots or AI agents to log into, post to, or otherwise interact with the BDO AI Community. Each account must be associated with a human, not a bot or AI agent. Do not manipulate engagement metrics or sell artificial engagement services. Do not engage in scraping, crawling or other general collection of data from the AI Community assets, or sell or purchase BDO AI Community assets, including accounts and usernames.
Do not share false or misleading content. Content that is false, misleading, intended to deceive or can lead to risk of physical or societal harm may not be shared on the BDO AI Community. Do not share content to interfere with or improperly influence an election or other civic process. Do not share synthetic or manipulated media (including deepfakes, AI-generated images, videos, or audio) that depicts a person saying something they did not say or doing something they did not do , unless you clearly and conspicuously disclose that the content is synthetic, manipulated, or AI-generated. This disclosure must be prominent and appear at the time the content is first viewed.. Do not share content that directly contradicts authoritative guidance from leading global health organizations and public health authorities regarding threats to public health and safety. Do not share content or endorse someone or something in exchange for personal benefit (including personal or family relationships, monetary payment, free products or services, or other value), unless you have included a clear and conspicuous notice of the personal benefit you receive and the nature of the benefit. We don't allow political advertisements, endorsements, or support posted in exchange for money or personal benefit. We may remove content if we reasonably believe its spread could result in damage to physical infrastructure, injury of others, obstruction of participation in civic processes, or the endangerment of public health.
Do not misrepresent your identity. We don’t allow fake profiles or entities. Do not post misleading or deceptive information about yourself, your business, your qualifications, work experience, affiliations, or achievements. Do not use an image of someone else, or any other image that is not your likeness, for your profile photo. Do not associate yourself with a business or organization that you are not actually professionally associated with. Do not use or attempt to use another person's BDO AI Community account or create a member profile for anyone other than yourself. And do not share your BDO AI Community account with anyone else.
Do not evade permanent BDO AI Community-level enforcement actions. Enforcement actions protect members from harm, maintain community integrity, and ensure productive engagement from all participants. Do attempt to, or coordinate with others to, avoid the impact of enforcement actions through dishonest behavior. This includes creating new, or using existing, accounts after being removed for violating our platform rules.
Do not engage in activities that could damage or compromise the security of an account, network, or system. This includes using deceptive techniques to trick others into revealing sensitive information (phishing), using malicious software (malware), and flooding a target with traffic in order to make a resource unavailable (denial-of-service attacks).
Do not use or attempt to use the BDO AI Community to promote, coordinate, or execute financial scams or frauds. Intentionally deceptive acts taken with the intent to receive an illegal, unethical, or otherwise dishonest gain are prohibited. Do not use the BDO AI Community to facilitate romance scams, promote pyramid schemes, or otherwise defraud members. Do not share malicious software that puts our members, platform, or services at risk. Phishing attempts are not tolerated.
Do not engage in activities that fraudulently generate a profit at the expense of others. This includes facilitating, providing instructions for, and participating in fraud. We do not allow coordinated efforts to defraud businesses, price gouging, forgery, money laundering, counterfeit goods, or tools that facilitate illegal behavior.
Do not submit false, misleading, or abusive reports or requests to the BDO AI Community’s support teams. Do not engage with the BDO AI Community’s reporting tools or support team in a disingenuous way. A report or request will be considered false or misleading if it contains demonstrably untrue information submitted with the intent to manipulate staff into taking a desired action.
Do not organize, promote, attempt, or engage in the selling or facilitation of sales of illegal or potentially dangerous goods or services. We don't allow content that facilitates the purchase of illegal or dangerous goods and/or services, prostitution, and escort services. We don't allow content that promotes or distributes fake educational and/or professional certifications, sale of scraped data, proxy test-taking, or instructions on creating forged official documents. You may not use the BDO AI Community to hold lotteries, contests, sweepstakes, giveaways, or illegal gambling operations. Do not use the BDO AI Community to sensationalize or capitalize on tragic events for commercial purposes.
REPORT BAD BEHAVIOR
If you see any content or activity that violates these Community Guidelines, our Terms of Service, or any of our other policies, please report it to us at [email protected]. You can learn more on how to report to us here. However, please note that we strongly discourage and may take action against vigilantism, as this behavior can put individuals in harm’s way and can also interfere with our investigations and ability to report to law enforcement.
These Community Guidelines will continue to evolve over time. This means we may take action against an account or content that violates the spirit of these Community Guidelines when we encounter a new threat or harm that is not explicitly covered in the current version of these Community Guidelines.
We may update these Community Guidelines at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you when we make material updates to these Community Guidelines, but it is up to you to follow these Community Guidelines as and when updated and to use the BDO AI Community responsibly to keep the BDO AI Community safe and help us ensure it remains a great place to drive collaboration and success amongst our members.
